A private, comfortably-paced route from the High Atlas to the dunes of the Sahara.
Your private vehicle collects you from your hotel or from Marrakech Airport and heads towards the High Atlas Mountains.
Cross the celebrated Tizi n'Tichka Pass with several panoramic stops along the way, admiring sweeping views over the Atlas range and its Berber villages.
Visit the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a true masterpiece of earthen architecture and the backdrop for numerous international film productions. Lunch along the way is at your own leisure.
Continue to Ouarzazate with a photo stop at the Kasbah of Taourirt (optional visit to the Atlas Film Studios), then follow the Skoura oasis, the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and the Valley of Roses on the way to the Dadès Valley. Dinner and overnight in Dadès.
Discover the celebrated hairpin switchbacks of the Dadès Valley before continuing to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where the cliffs rise more than 300 metres.
Free time for a walk through the heart of the gorge (lunch in Tinghir or Erfoud at your own expense), before continuing to Erfoud, Morocco's fossil capital, and onward to Merzouga.
Settle into a luxury camp or lodge at the foot of the dunes, then set off by camel across the dunes of the Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset over the Sahara.
Enjoy a traditional dinner beneath the stars, followed by Berber music and entertainment around the campfire. Overnight in Merzouga.
An optional early rise to watch the sunrise paint the Erg Chebbi dunes in gold, before breakfast.
Depart for Rissani, with the possibility of visiting its traditional souk depending on market days, before crossing the wild desert landscapes towards Alnif and N'Kob.
Continue to the magnificent Drâa Valley, famed for its immense palm groves, Berber villages and earthen kasbahs (lunch en route, at your own expense).
Pass through Agdz before reaching Ouarzazate, where you settle in for dinner and an overnight stay.
Time permitting, visit the Atlas Film Studios or the Museum of Cinema (both optional, at additional cost).
